Good news from the „Flight-Miniatures“ and „Premium Snap Fit“ series:
Both the TUIfly Boeing 737-800 with special decorations "Haribo-Goldbären" and "ARD-Fernsehlotterie" are available as very affordable big-scale models (1:100). With a length of 39.50 cm and a wingspan of 35.80 cm these scale models are an eyecatcher on every workdesk. The price for each is only 36.50 Euros.
Additionaly there is a new Boeing 777-200 from British Airways with the identification G-YMMG (length of the model is 31.85cm in 1-200 scale).
In particular BA is using this plane for flights to USA, Africa, Far-East and Australia.
Swiss International Airlines is using their A 330-300 (Identifictaion HB-JHA) mostly for destinations in north america. Including New York JFK, Chicago, Montreal and Miami, but also Dubai and Tel Aviv.
Condor is currently adding so called "winglets" to their Boeing 767-300. Despite the plane isn't the newest, the upgrades seem to be profitable because the amount of saved fuel is said to be nearly 5%.
And... again we are having the Air France Concorde available in a smaller 1-250 scale version. The plane is speaking for itself. Until the disaster in paris this supersonic jet was used by AF and BA between their home countries and the USA. Additionaly there were some charter flights for eminently wealthy passengers. The model with the identification F-BTSD has a length of 24.88 cm and a wingspan of 10.22 cm.
